Stray Kitten That Grows Up Around Hospital Gets Pregnant, the Nurses and Security Guards Decide to Take Her In and Wholesomely Care for Her

There are so many wholesome heroes out there, it's hard to give them all the appreciation they deserve, but here at I Can Has Cheezburger, we try our very best to do so! Imagine being a scared, smol stray kitten alone in the world. It's a big, scary world out there for us hoomans, so being a cute kitten with no one to teach you the ropes. Luckily, this kitten found a hospital nearby with some cat-loving nurses and security guards, so she grew up around the hospital, with them feeding her and taking care of her as best as they could. 

Well, as time goes on, the kitten becomes a cat, and she ends up getting pregnant. It's hard enough being a single mom, let alone a homeless one! The nurses and security guards decide to give her her own room in the hospital, to keep her safe during her pregnancy. It's a little controversial, but cute, if you ask us.     I asked about this pregnant cat named Cerid roaming the hospital. The nurse said they let her stay because she's been here longer than some of the staff. A frontliner cat!

    Ugh, what a poor baby! We can't imagine how hard her life must have been, but thankfully, there are always cat-loving people willing to lend a hand however they can.

    It's not ideal, but we can't all live in the Ritz Carlton, can we? She is mostly fed outside apparently, but a little snackie here and there never hurt anyone.

    • lovingdomenica OP 1 day ago Oh, they do! However, some patients are not comfortable having animals in the hospital due to health reasons. There are a lot of stray cats that likes to hang around outside the hospital, where they have a row of bowls prepared for them. I believe the security guards. or the staff feed them regularly.

    lovingdomenica OP 23 hr. ago She pops into the hospital now and then, and most patients and staff don't even bat an eye anymore. A bunch of patients already know her since she likes to roam around the hospital halls. She's a stray, but from what I've heard, she's been hanging around that hospital since she was just a kitten.

    yeah ok but tons of US rural hospitals are closing so there are plenty of areas here in the good old US that no longer have hospital services within a 30 minute drive or even longer. What's a cat or two in comparison to greedy venture capital buying up hospital systems to destroy for their lucrative

Cute cat, but you never, I repeat NEVER bring animals into a hospital without them being a service animal, or through explicit permission by the chief of the hospital. Also, get them to get her spayed!
